Our Admission



Prospectus and Registration forms are available for admission from Pre-Nursery. Students for Pre-Nursery to Class II will  be selected on the basis of personal interaction with the teachers and from Classes III a written test will be conducted followed by an interview. The school will be day school and boarding for students from Class-III onwards. The day     scholars and boarder s are requested to specify their choice clearly in the Registration Form.

Date for tests/ observation and interaction will be intimated to the parent and the same may be changed without prior notice by the school administration. The Management Committee can relax the admission process in case of meritorious candidates.

 Admission Processes

Admission and Registration process starts for the new Session (Session starts from April ) from the month of  November of the current session.

Procedures, terms and conditions

1. Registration Procedures and Rules

a) Registration Forms are to be filled and submitted to the School Office before the end of the Registration period.

b) Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms will not be processed / accepted.

c) Dates for Tests / Interviews / Interaction will be intimated at the time of registration. The School authorities reserve the right to change the date and time of the interview.

d) Mere issue of Forms or registration does not imply admission, which is subject to admission Tests / Interviews / Interaction and also the availability of seats.

e) Photocopy of Birth certificate issued by the municipal corporation or concerned civic authority must accompany the Registration Form for Classes Pre-Nursery & Nursery .Photocopy of report card of the last exam passed must be attached with the Registration Form for Classes I & above.

2. Admission Procedure:

2.1 Entrance Tests / Interviews:

a) There will be a written test for students seeking admission, from Classes II and upwards. Only those candidates who clear the written test will be called for an interview.

b) Results will be displayed on the notice board on the dates specified at the time of interview.

2.2 Admission Formalities:

a) Successful candidates whose names are included in the list must pay the fee by the dates indicated on the list, otherwise admission will automatically stand cancelled.

b) Parents are requested to carefully fill and submit the Registration Form, Admission Form, Transportation Form, Medical Form and Hostel Form at the time of payment of Fees. These Forms are enclosed in the booklet.

c) The date of birth of the child is required to be supported by the Birth Certificate in original issued by the municipal Corporation/Local Body as applicable, along with a certified Photostat copy thereof. An affidavit or any other evidence is not acceptable in place of Birth Certificate. It is to be attached with Admission Form for Classes Nursery & Prep. For Class I & above, Transfer Certificate is to be submitted at the time of admission/1st day in school.

d) The child will be issued the student identity card only after all four Forms are duly filled and the admission formalities are completed.

e) Parents are to report to the reception counter on the dates specified along with the student I-card .The ward will not be allowed to attend classes if the identity admission card is not produced.

f) Your ward has to report in complete School Uniform, along with books and stationery as prescribed by the school. (Uniform, Books and Stationery are available at the school book/uniform shop).

3. Non-refund of Fee

Fee once paid is not refundable for any reasons whatsoever.

4. Withdrawal Rules

a) Application for withdrawal is to be made on a Prescribed Performa available in the school office. No child can be withdrawn till a written request from parents is put up. A one month notice period or one month notice fee is required for withdrawal.

b) Clearance must be obtained from the laboratory and library in charge before applying for withdrawal.

c) Transfer Certificate will be issued after one week of the receipt of the application and clearance of all dues.

d) Boarders can become day scholars after paying the full year boarding and lodging charges.

5. Bus Rules

a) Request for using the school bus must be made at the beginning of the session i.e. April. No request will be entertained during mid-session.

b) It will be the sole responsibility of the parents to escort the pupil to and from the fixed Bus stops. The bus facility is extended at the sole risk and responsibility of the parents.

c) Any suggestions or complaints should be reported to the transport in-charge. Parents are expected to treat the bus staff courteously. Do not give instructions to bus staff, driver or conductor.

6. Right of Alteration / Modification

Management reserves the right to modify, alter and/or include any other terms and conditions that may be deemed fit in the interest of the institution.

7. Medical Facility

a) The school has a well-equipped sick-bay to deal with any emergency.

b) The school provides facilities of First-Aid only.

c) The school cannot be held responsible for injury suffered by a child. No reimbursement of charges would be made towards any medical treatment.

8. Procedure for fee payment

8.1 Fee is charged quarterly for every student.

8.2 

a) Fee at the time of admission is payable by demand draft/pay order in favor of DPS Bhagalpur payable at Bhagalpur.

b) The name of your ward, class and registration no. Should be written at the back of the Demand Draft / Pay order.

c) Fee, thereafter, is payable by A/C payee cheque only at school office between 8.30 am to 1.00 pm on all working days except Sunday.

d) The name of the child / class / section / admission no. should be written at the back of the cheque.

Those using the bus must ensure that the correct amount is filled in the fee cheque. Quarterly fee is due for payment on 1 st April, 1st July, 1st October and 1st January of every year. Last date of payment is 10th of the first month of every quarter. A fine of Rs. 25/- per day shall be levied from the 11th of the month in which the school dues are to be paid till the end of the second month of that quarter. In case where cheque is issued for any payment is dishonored by Bank for reason of insufficient funds, a penalty of Rs. 500/- will be charged and if dishonored due to any other reason a penalty equal to Rs. 200/- will be charged. The name of the child is liable to be struck off the rolls, if the fee is not paid by the last date of the said months.

* Kindly attach the Report Card of last exam passed for Admission to Class I and above.
