Where Ambition and Dream becomes-
"Journey to Education"...
"The development of children is the first priority on the country's development agenda, not because they are most vulnerable, but because they are our supreme assets and also the future human resources of the country". These words underline the concerns of India's Tenth Five Year Plan.
Investment in Education is creation of "Human Wealth" for the Nation. To me "True Knowledge" is the ultimate emancipation leading to salvation in life. Childhood is a preparation for adult life: it recapitulates the whole "Human Evolution" dedicated to Society and The Nation. Every child in DPS Bhagalpur is a self-evolving soul and the business of both parents and teacher is to enable and help child to educate himself, to develop his own intellectual pursuits, moral values, aesthetic, culture and practical capacities leading to free growth as a complete "Human Being".
We at DPS Bhagalpur believe "Education" as an attitude towards children, a perception of understanding faculties and traits of knowledge, evolution of character, love, respect and caring. It's an attitude of expectation, patience, liberation and restraint for us. For me "Education" is a process of acceptance of a child's mistakes and rectifying them, tolerating their stubbornness and mollifying it, accepting their defiance and making them agree. We should believe that each child has within himself every ingredient that facilitates "True Education".
Our concept and methodology of Education has brought dramatic positive changes in children of the school. Our exemplary results in school's first Class X, CBSE Exams in 2009 epitomise our belief and practices being implemented by teachers. Our achievements is not a reward for our effort and beliefs; rather the sense of satisfaction of achievement is the reward for our ambition.
Let us come together and explore the world of education that awaits us, unexplored. DPS Bhagalpur is a joint effort of DPS Society and Angika Development Society to redefine "Education" and "Knowledge" and take the Nation to inclusive growth.
