Our Faculty inspires values, culture, success and knowledge all resulting into wisdom. Teachers of DPS Bhagalpur are from various corners of India. They are highly qualified and trained to exude love for profession. Senior teachers for Classess XI & XII are B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and NIITs. Teachers for Primary and Secondary classess are postgraduates with abundance of experience of teaching in reputed schools of India, behind them. They are sensitive to the learning style differences among students, when feasible they try to identify and use appropriate learning materials, pedagogy and strategy suitable to requirement. Individual differences and needs are recognized and the learning environment is tailored to motivate and challenge all our pupils.

Teachers organize themed weeks in school for Science, Math, Languages, Sports, and Music to promote opportunities for across year group learning in a broad and balanced curriculum. Students are exposed to strategies for learning for remembering and for applying what they have learned. For every 15 students there is a teacher, a high student teacher ratio for the benefit of students by any standard.

Teachers in DPS Bhagalpur communicate interest and caring to students both verbally and through such non-verbal means as giving undivided attention, maintaining eye contact, smiling and positive head nodding. They encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility and self-reliance. For every five student there is a teacher to guide during prep time for boarding students. It's a form of parenting and taking care that each teacher is supposed to imbibe in their character for the boarder students.

Truly, teachers foster positive teacher-student and sudent-student relationships through use of cooperative learning strategies. They are true friend, philosopher and guide.

The wide age range of our students means that we provide separate specialized teachers for our Foundation Department. This includes Nursery, Prep and First grade Classes. Special care is taken with these children to ensure first basics are learned. Grades two to five covers the second area as primary to higher junior grades.

Teaching here cover basic skills that are required for all higher education. Grades six to ten are secondary stage classes requiring a higher academic input from teachers with the necessary teaching skills for these academic levels. All teachers are encouraged to vary their teaching styles to maximize lesson quality. Teachers are expected to deliver good lessons that all the class understand and offer support for less able children.
