The Delhi Public School Society sowed its first seed of vision in 1949 at Mathura Road, New Delhi. In pursuance of its motto 'Service Before Self', and its commitment to an integrated educational system, the mission of the society was to enhance learning among the Indian youth. This mission and desire has grown to a family of 146 schools in sixty-six years of worthy and fruitful existence across the globe. A journey that has just begun with many more years to go to “eternity”.

The Delhi Public School Society is known for it's innovative attitude, belief and perception in the academic world- it has set unassailable parameters in the field of education with its vision, supporting ideas, sharing solutions, expanding opportunities and constancy of purpose. DPSS has always believed in creating high quality, stimulating and well ordered learning environment in which good teaching and effective learning can flourish.
